I have a passion for craftwork like beading, knitting, paper-making and etc...Actually there's nuthing much to say bout myself...Oops...almost forgotten I LUP EEYORE!!! hehehe...and I have a silky terrier named Suki.

Eh...blogger had been updated eh...
By the way...good evening people.....this weekend has been good...cept for thursday night(likely friday morning) i was rushing to finish an almost 20 pages lab. report. It was a tiring progress for i thought we might stood a chance to pass it up next week which is tomorrow you see....but....the tuitor who was in charged of this particular experiment wanted us to hand it up the very next day which was Friday morning....torturing enough at the same time...i was having an exam on Friday morning....basket!....enough said bout that...
Here are some facts that you ppl might be interested in....
1)The norm weight to lose every month for ppl going on diet is 0.5-1.0 kg/month. Anything more than that is bad or should i say not proper.
2)(this is a question) What is the first thing you choose when is comes to food? a) must be nutritional and balance, b)must be attractive, c)must be delicious, and d)must consist of expensive ingredients. (shall tell you guys the answer in muh next post)
Anyone went for Dogathon today? Well....Dogathon is like marathon except that it is yer dog that is racing and you're supposed to lead the way....cool huh....more like a doggy day....it was pretty ironic that i didn't get to go initially because i had to attend swimming lesson from 8-12am today in uni. So the original plan was, my sis and bf brought Suki(my silky terrier) for Dogathon in UPM. At the same time i was quite upset not being able to attend it. Was pretty excited for Suki as this was her first time socializing with other dogs, moreover she's always very excited when it comes to outings....in her language outing = kai kai. I was there in UPM last minute for swimming lesson was cancelled because the pool was close and nobody informed the coach and the students. There and then i had happy...but guess what....i drove from UM to UPM only to find out that the race was finished!...sigh...it was fun though as i got to snap photos with other cutey pies, pretty bitches and macho dogs. hehe..Suki was good in the race for a small dog although she didn't managed to get the first seventh female category. Way to go! On the other hand , she was rather shy(lack of exposure i supposed...unlike the owner...muahahaah) I had to hold on tight to her while taking photos or else she will be running away.
Here i am back at home...finally settled down. Gonna be doing some sewing stuff. had finish sewing a new set of cafe curtains for my room...and it looks so much brighter...still there's room for improvement...be it sewing, studying, life...etc....
Have a good sunday ppl and be prepared for a brand new week tomorrow....one advice just dont be like Garfield...hehe

Okay...so far...my name's Shirley Koh...aint....Shirley with Potassium Hydroxide(KOH) yet. Why?Relevant questions regarding my life so far...okay let's just recap...
1)Major? Biochem.
2)Most hangout area? Uni
3)More specific?Laboratory
4)How often? Three times a weeks
5)Which are the days..in uni? Everyday except for Saturday.
6)Average duration in uni perday?10 hours.
7)Swim? Yes. Twice a week.
8)Gym? Hardly. why? no time!
9)Craftwork? None
10)Yum cha? None
Hmm...does that sorta imply something? Well...i'm still trying hard to get used to this daily stuff. I finally had to agree with Clarissa that being a biochem student, it is not merely studying and comprehending whatever the lecturer bla bla to you...but it is the lab. work, the never ending experiments, the confusing calculations that involves chemicals and bio. substances. All these that makes it so hard to bear...=/
Definitely not a box of chocolate i reckon. Perhaps it wasn't a good start as stated in the previous blogs- my registration for subjects had been like err...a 'drama'....first was 20 credit hours then it became 17 and slumped to 14 and now back to 17(i have to take an average of 18 every sem. in order to grad. after 6 semesters).
Okay enough of =[ matters...
Well, that day i was being informed that i might get a place at the Jabatan Kimia( Government's Chemistry Department) for internship next year. At least something to look forward to...heee.
Alrite...need to finish up muh lab report on spectrofotometer. Laters

Good morning everyone. Just thought it would be good to say a lil something since i'm online *smile*
Well, as this week uni has just started and it's the registration week...initially was bad because i was required to register online but the server went down on me. So i had to go all the way to my pal, yoke yee's house to register but to no avail. Just when we thought it was Doomsday...all of a sudden Ai Nee ( my coursemate) called...and she told us she had no problem registering online from her home. Hence she helped the two of us to register and we managed to get a hold of 5 subjects that includes Biochem 1, Biochem Lab. 1, Imunology, Plant Biochem. , Biochem Food and Nutrition. It was better than nothing though at the same time lack of credit hours.
So yesterday Yoke Yee and I decided to go back to uni to "beg" the lecturer to let us register this particular subject which was stated "full" online. Since 9 in the morning we were walking up and down, to and fro, within the Sc. Fac. compound and finally after say almost half an hour we managed to find this lecturer..."phew"...we almost gave up as it aint easy to find his room...with no easy notice given so on and forth....
As we thought we were gonna put on our pity face once he said "i'm sorry i can't help you"....instead he said..."mari ikut saya balik bilik dan tulis nama" (follow me back to the room to write down your names).....i can tell you ppl...at that moment...if only i was permitted...i was gonna jump up and down with joy....weeehoooo! Thk god for that...and so that was the way we registered subject no. 6...Pharmacology. Apparently the lecturer opened up 50 more places for students to take this subject.
Registration for the both of us wasn't as bad as my the other friend's, Wei Goon. That poor girl...she was in uni yesterday at 5am in the morning (can you imagine?!!) just to queue up to register for her chemistry subjects. According to her, students who major chemistry STAYED OVERNIGHT at the Chem. Building just to get right upfront..God...this is insanity....Thk God that she manage to get what she wanted....
And so this is just a lil bit of updates from Science Faculty of University Malaya( trust me...i'm not even the least proud of it ) =/

Testing.Testing.Hopefully the template hasn't ran away this time again.
How's everybody? Good I hope. *smiles*
Three more days to go and I can finally say bye-bye to Happy Holidays. Mmmm...going for don't-know-good-or-bad. But as I mentioned earlier on, I am ever ready to work hard again(i hope so).
Life's been good like the morning freshly brewed cuppa coffee. Been really caught up with cross-stitch. I'm still doing the second project, hoping to finish it before Monday. Shall let you guys see when i'm done yeah..my house's pretty much like a mini gallery right now...heheh...oh yeah...thk you mr. Jack for those wonderful frames you've done...=] It's really weird when during the holidays you're so free and all of a sudden when uni's gonna start in say within 10 days....that's when things/work/chores/errands zoom coming in putting a landslide right above yer head. There's so much more to be done before i can actually prepare myself for uni or else will be abandoned till muh next holidays.Hmm...
All of muh course mates seem to be getting a lil worried and that include myself. We are required to set our own timetable. Sounds cool huh...but not if you have to register for subjects with limited place. Once you're slow, you'll never get a decent place in that particular subject, plus if you have two subjects clashing with the same time, you'll have to cancel the other one. The worst will be if you're slow, you'll never get to graduate on time. In conclusion all of the student here have to be KIASU. Hope to be one in that wise but it's difficult.
